As of today, March 20th 2020, the Out of Bounds on the 1st Hole has been reinstated along the right hand side of the hole. The decision to reinstate the OOB on the 1st Hole has been made firstly, for Health and Safety, following many near misses of those hitting in to or utilising the Practice Fairway, and secondly, as the new Rules of Golf have more options for balls OOB or Lost. If your ball does finish in the Practice Area, please check that you are safe to look for your ball before walking in to the Practice Area. During play of Hole 1, the Right side of the hole, defined by white stakes, is out of bounds.
These stakes are treated as boundary objects during the play of Hole 1. For all other holes, they are immovable obstructions.
It is important to note that the Practice Fairway remains a Penalty Area when playing Hole 9, and as such the red stakes have remain in place for Hole 9.
